Client Avoids Jail After Warrants Withdrawn

Our client was issued two non-criminal citations for boating violations. After failing to pay the citations, two misdemeanors were filed by the State Attorney’s Office for “Failure to Comply”. The client failed to appear for his arraignment date on the misdemeanors which resulted in two warrants for his arrest.

After the client contacted us, we filed a motion with the Court to withdraw the warrants. The judge granted our motion, the warrants were withdrawn, and the client did not have to serve any jail time.
