Samara Ballard is an Attorney with Battaglia, Ross, Dicus, and McQuaid, P.A., a nationally ranked Tier 1 law firm by US News & World Reports, specializing in criminal defense and civil litigation. 

Ms. Ballard grew up in New York and graduated with an undergraduate degree in Sociology, from the State University of New York at Oneonta. She left New York to begin her first-career as a Juvenile Probation Officer in St. Petersburg.

As a Juvenile Probation Officer, she worked tirelessly to support young offenders in rehabilitation and reintegration into society. She developed a deep empathy for the challenges faced by youth entangled in the criminal justice system. Her dedication and innovative approaches garnered recognition within the field, earning her the respect of colleagues and the trust of the youth she served.

Driven by her desire to effect broader change within the legal system, Samara made the pivotal decision to pursue a law degree at Stetson University College of Law. 

Ms. Ballard’s background allows her to bring a unique perspective to her practice, understanding the complexities of the legal system and the human stories behind each case. She brings a blend of compassion and tenacity to every case she handles.
