A recent DUI Wolf Pack in Pinellas County saw over 38 DUI arrests and 37 DUI citations, as a result of an operation to clamp down on drunk driving.
Starting on December 17, the DUI Wolf Pack in Pinellas County was active between 7:00 pm Saturday and 5:00 am Sunday. Law enforcement reported that they issued over 200 citations and a further 69 criminal charges.
The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office dedicated the operation to Deputy Michael Magli, who in February 2021 was killed by a drunk driver (recorded at over three times the legal limit and was sentenced to 35 years in prison).
- More than 1/2 of the criminal citations were for DUI offenses.
- 75 speeding tickets, 39 non-moving and 39 moving violations were also issued.

The previous DUI Wolf Pack in Pinellas County occurred during Memorial Weekend on Saturday, May 28, 2022. It resulted in 28 DUI charges, 36 criminal charges and 156 total citations.
