Aubrey Dicus, Jr.
Former president and CEO Battaglia, Ross, Dicus & McQuaid, P.A., Mr. Discus has extensive experience in litigation and has been a partner at the firm since 1974 after attending Emory University and Stetson Law School.
Mr. Dicus has over 40 years of practice in personal injury, criminal litigation, and civil litigation. He represents clients with cases involving auto accidents, product liability, medical malpractice, capital murder, white-collar crimes, commercial contracts, probate and estate litigation, and many more complex areas of law. He also represented clients and won several successful multi-million dollar claims and has experience giving legal counsel to government entities, including the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Department and municipalities, in government-related litigation.
Ranger Jackson is an Associate with Battaglia, Ross, Dicus, and McQuaid, P.A. He previously worked as a prosecutor at the State Attorney’s Office in Pinellas County. This distinguished work experience gave him the opportunity to form strong working relationships with Pinellas County judges and prosecutors, which works as a major advantage in his practice now. He has tried over 40 cases, including DUI, domestic violence, drug possession, and white-collar crime cases.
One of Mr. Jackson’s additional strong suits is his ability and skill in using cutting-edge technology. As the previous head of electronic investigations in Pinellas County, he has experience in a unique type of prosecution involving digital evidence (e.g., GPS trackers and cell phone location intel).
Ranger is an Atlanta, Georgia native and attended Shorter University in Rome, GA, graduating magna cum laude and receiving honors as an Academic All-American. He was also a member of the Baseball and Golf team. He then went on to earn his J.D. from Stetson University College of Law, when he interned for the State Attorney’s Office, 6th Judicial Circuit; Jabil Circuit; and the United States Attorney’s Office, Middle District of Florida.
Jesse M. Morse
Jesse Morse is an American hero and success story. As a former Air Force Intelligence Analyst Veteran, he served our country and now serves clients. He is also a former prosecutor. Jesse has always prided himself on his ruthless work ethic, having worked his way through school and has now become a successful private practice attorney. His areas of expertise include personal injury, criminal defense, insurance disputes, and civil litigation.
Jesse earned his B.A. in English from the University of Florida, where he worked for the Dean of Students, helping transition veterans from service to school. He has always been an advocate for justice for those who deserve it, from helping Veteran services now to personal injury and criminal defense. After attending the University of Florida, he earned his Juris Doctor degree from Stetson University College of Law.
As a former prosecutor in Pinellas County, Jessue investigated and prosecuted crimes involving DUI, BUI, domestic battery, drug possession, and murder. He has also worked closely with the Florida Fish and Wildlife to enforce boating and is an expert in wildlife laws in Pinellas County, Florida.
He has strong trial skills and has formed resourceful connections with law enforcement agencies during his work as a prosecutor. He now uses his unique background and skills to practice law and represent clients in both criminal and civil cases.
