Facts:
My client has a really nice car and it draws attention. One morning, he was headed East on Park Blvd and caught the eye of the Pinellas Park Police Department. He was accused of speeding and cutting in and out of traffic. He was stopped and given a ticket for reckless driving, which is a misdemeanor.

The Case:
Some of the driving was caught on video and it showed that my client was speeding, but it really wasn’t that bad. I had my client complete the 12 hour ADI school and then sent in a request to the prosecutor for an amendment of the charge.

The Result:
The prosecutor agreed to amend the charge to careless driving, which is a civil infraction. He did not get any points on his license and had to pay a fine of $166. It was a good result and he was very happy. The case also was resolved in less than two months.
