Facts:
My client was in town for a wedding and was staying on St. Pete Beach. He and some friends went to Postcard Inn after drinking all day. The night got out of control on the dance floor. My client was accused of pushing other dancers and eventually got into a brawl. The police were called and he was arrested for disorderly conduct. He bonded out of jail and hired me as he was at the airport heading home.
The Case:
My client had never been arrested before and had an excellent job. I made a call to the prosecutor to explain that this was simply a bad night and not a habit. Within a week, the charges were dropped.
