Ranger’s client, who resides in California, had an outstanding warrant in Florida for over 4 years due to an unpaid cab fare, which led to a petit theft charge. When Ranger’s client did not appear at his arraignment, a warrant was issued. The lingering legal issue was causing significant stress and uncertainty for our client, who couldn’t easily travel back to Florida to resolve the matter.

Ranger took on the case with the determination to resolve it efficiently and favorably for his client. He immediately got to work, negotiating with the prosecutor and speaking directly with the victim involved in the case. Ranger’s approach was comprehensive, taking into account the client’s lack of prior criminal record and coordinating the payment of restitution.

After presenting the client’s background and the facts of the case, Ranger was able to persuade the state attorney’s office to drop the petit theft charge. As a result, the outstanding warrant was dismissed, and our client did not have to travel back to Florida.
