Our client was initially on probation in Pinellas County for a burglary charge. While on probation, they were unfortunately arrested for a battery charge in Orange County. This new arrest triggered a violation of probation in Pinellas County, placing our client in a precarious situation.

Our first priority was to address the new battery charge in Orange County. We investigated the circumstances and built a strong defense.

With the Orange County case dismissed, we turned our attention to the violation of probation in Pinellas County. We presented a compelling argument to the State Attorney, emphasizing the dismissal of the new charge. Our persistence paid off, and the State Attorney agreed to dismiss the violation of probation.

Once our client was released from custody, they promptly paid off all outstanding court costs. We then filed a motion for early termination of probation, highlighting our client’s compliance and the positive changes they had made. The court granted our motion, and our client is now completely free of any probationary obligations.
